2012 is here and the planning for our new season is underway!!
The new 2012 season began on January 14th at the Sherwood Park Bowl.
Many present and futureRAMS, a lot of them new to the game arrived to have fun and to show all their bowling prowess. The boys had a blast and were excited to learn that our new gym functions for this year have been set:
February 11th from 3-5 PM at Strathcona Christian Academy (SCA) located on Cloverbar Road will be our first function.
March 17th will be our second gym day from 3:30-5:30, again at SCA.
You can register by emailing our team Manager "Sheena" at sheena@westwaysgroup.com to confirm your attendance. The events are free and you can bring as many friends who are eligible to play bantam football as you want.
Please understand that you do not need prior football experience to play on our team!
RAMS Announce 17th Annual Indoor Spring Skills Camp
This year's camp will again be at the Edmonton Kinsmen Field House on APRIL 15 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Registration of this camp is limited due to space to the first 60 players, including returning players so please contact our team manager Sheena at sheena@westwaysgroup.com or our team registrar Colleen at gman@telusplanet.net to save a spot.
There will be a $20 charge for this camp which include a new RAMS tshirt. All you need is gym shorts and good running shoes.
RAMS Announce 7th Annual All Rookie Outdoor Camp- May 5th 10AM- 3 PM with lunch provided.
You will need to register for this camp as it is a full contact ONLY FOR FIRST YEAR bantam players. It will be held at the RAMS Clubhouse facility located at 1011 Strathcona Dr., just west of St. Theresa's School. There is a $20 fee for this camp which will be applied as a credit to your registration fee when you make the RAMS this season.
RAMS TRYOUT CAMP DATES SET
The dates are May 7-11th and May 14-18, 2012 at the RAMS practice facility. Practices will be held each day from 6-8:30 PM. Please contact Sheena or Colleen at the above email addresses for more information. Please remember that you must be registered to tryout. The RAMS look forward to seeing you there.

Experience is not a prerequisite for playing for us. All we ask is that you be keen and prepared to work hard to get better every day when you do make our team!

*Please note that certain territorial requirements exist. If you live north of HIghway 16 or in the City of Edmonton, you may require a release to join the RAMS this season.

The RAMS have been the most successful bantam football team around the City of Edmonton and County of Strathcona for the last 18 years. We are a professionally run organization and offer our players unique positive experiences . Winning championships is a by-product of our team's philosophy. Our post secondary bursary program is unique to Canadian bantam football.

Golf Tournament
The Sherwood Park Rams host an annual Bursary Golf Tournament at Legends Golf Course. The Bursary Fund provided financial support to an additional 14 recipients in 2011, bringing the total to 101 former Rams who have benefited from the bursary since its inception.
This golf event is our primary fund raiser for this one-of-a-kind program that provides bursary funds for Rams alumni to assist in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Visit the "Golf Tournament" Link for information about our next Bursary Golf Tournament.
