2012 Registration
Thank
you for your interest in the RAMS and for visiting our website. Many
new exciting players will be joining the Rams in 2012 and we are excited
to see them be part of the RAMS family. Some of our players will never
have played the game before. You will have the time of your life!
If you have an interest to play for the RAMS this year and you will not be turning 16 years and will not be in Grade 10 in 2012, WE WANT YOU!

Did you know that last year player roster sizes on two of three teams last year was about the same size- about 45 players-which is the limit set by the league. This will probably not change this year either as Strathcona County continues to be a hot bed of football in Alberta and Canada! A football team needs lots of players to help develop and get better and we promise to keep as many players as our team and coaches can handle.
Our team WILL NOT promise you anything that it cannot deliver, such as a starting position. Our returning players each year know they have to work hard enough and be dedicated enough to want to EARN a starting position. The truth is EVERY YEAR first year players come to our team and earn a starting spot beating out returning players! Not only do the returning players understand this, they respect it! That is why our returning players show up in shape. All RAMS are very supportive of each other no matter where and when they play.
There is another thing we would like to share with you. When you play football, your skills, attitude and coaches will decide where you play on the field. Some teams will tell you that you can play any position where YOU want to play but honestly, we know different don't we? The coaches make these decisions and we ask our players to accept those decisions.
2012 REGISTRATION FEES
Before April 30th............$275.00
May 1st onwards............$325.00
Cash or cheque payable to "Sherwood Park Rams"
-Includes equipment, Team & individual photo and a $20 non-refundable Football Alberta Insurance fee
• Equipment deposit............$350.00 post-dated cheque to November 30, 2012 payable to "Sherwood Park Rams" (will be returned when all equipment has been returned clean and inspected)

REGISTRATION FORM AND CDMFA WAIVER
We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport™ provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. Visit their website and see if you may be eligible.
We encourage you to talk to all the teams in Sherwood Park. We want you to KNOW ABOUT ALL THE TEAMS before you decide where to play because we believe that our team will be the right choice for you! We understand and respect that you have choices. Once you have seen what other teams offer, that is when you should decide. However, prior to the start of the season, you can only be registered with one team.
Our team prides itself on helping as many players as possible to become good football players and great young citizens. This is why we want you to play for us. SEE YOU SOON!
