What do I need to know as a parent?

  • Players must check-in before every practice on field and answer a health questionnaire
  • Players must bring their own water bottle, labelled
  • Parents are not allowed to watch practice, as we do not have the space at Skitsko field to physical distance spectators from the field properly
  • Families are asked not to carpool
  • Families are asked not to socialize in the parking lot, unless they can maintain 2m physical distancing
  • Parents are asked to wait in their car for pick up rather than come to the field
  • Players are asked to wipe down their equipment after every practice, especially their helmets and their gloves if using
  • If there is a positive test in a cohort group, that group will stop immediately and will follow all procedures given by Football Alberta and Alberta Health Services

What about after July?

  • As of now, there has no indication from our governing bodies of what the season will be past July.  The situation is changing all the time, and as a club we are trying to prepare for many possibilities
  • Future fees will be determined by:
    • type of play (practice only vs league play)
    • length of season
    • fundraising opportunities
    • costs incurred to meet safety guidelines
  • The club is working to ensure that fee and fundraising options will be at an appropriate level that all members should be able to support them
